Dream

Gimi introduces children to saving, earning and spending money in a playful way. Gimi asked us to prepare the app for the Dutch market in partnership with ABN AMRO. We optimised the App Store description and tested several approaches: targeting a specific keyword, speaking to parents as decision-makers, and telling the story from the child’s perspective. This helped us find the message that resonated best with Dutch users.

Result

With a structured marketing strategy backed by A/B testing and data analysis, we increased organic visibility by 400%

Successfully launching an app in a new market takes more than translation. For Gimi, we developed a strategy around Dutch users. We A/B tested app previews and custom product pages, and built a structured keyword strategy for both the App Store and Google Play.

Staying consistent across markets

This is how we made sure Gimi was not only easy to find, but also matched what Dutch parents and children were looking for. We tested several App Store description variants, focusing on relevant search terms such as “piggy bank”, the parent as the decision-maker, and the child’s own story. This showed us which message resonated best with the Dutch audience.

Combined with its trusted partnership with ABN AMRO, Gimi meets Dutch families’ need for a safe and engaging way to teach children about money.
